twenty-nine balloons

On Monday afternoon I took the pirates swimming. I got a call from my mother-in-law and a text from my sister-in-law... and came home to find balloons all over my front yard. I loved it! Apparently there were thirty to begin with, but one snuck away whilst everyone was watching. (So I went ahead and took it as a sign.)

It was a simple birthday... my favorite kind! And the balloons were a legitimate surprise, which I love. (Because I'm hardly ever surprised.) Thank you to everyone! It was a lovely, lovely day!
