Yesterday Robs started school at 8:00 in the morning. Usually it's 11:23 a.m.- so it was a bit earlier than we're used to. I woke Enriqueboy and Squish from their beauty sleep and we dropped her off at 7:58 a.m. At 8:03 I realized she'd had no breakfast- but it wasn't a big issue seeing as I was picking her up only an hour and twenty-seven minutes later.
One hour and twenty-seven minutes later I asked how her day had been, what she'd done at school, and of course, if she was hungry. She unwrapped a green sucker, and excitedly told me about the games she'd played and the ice cream she'd eaten. (It was 9:31 a.m. and we were officially on Summer Break.)
I had completely forgotten to feed her... and she fixed the problem with a sucker and ice cream.
Classic.
The theme this week, (can you guess?) is: Children.
Children and Summer were made for each other.
