Photobucket

We've been hopping around the
United States.
Loving every minute of it, of course.
But after a couple weeks... I must confess...
I suspect these two have
flying down to an art.
(Or science... depending on the degree they choose.)
----------
We approach security and they practically
hand me their shoes.
----------
The liquids?
Safely contained in a see-through plastic baggie,
before I even have to ask.

We stroll through the metal, and who-knows-what-else detector,
and they flash Mr. TSA himself
a winning smile.
----------
At the same time.
----------
Quite the
amazing
duo.

  2. Christine, I think you are a painter of words. I can just see the whole airport scene play out in my mind. It's fabulous.
A couple of things: Tell your sweet hubby that Niel is ready to out with him on the trails. He just bought a 2009 (?) Jamis full suspension mountian bike. And when do you get back in town? I would like to see assuming you are back by then) if you would like to take some annaversary pictures of Niel and I next Monday (March 15th).
    Love and Miss you!!!

  5. Good for them! As for me, I'm the one screaming and crying while everyone else is trying to get me through the metal detector...I do not like flying!

  6. Do you remember how you said you've sailed through two lenses now? Wellll, let me join the club - only with cameras, not lenses. I think I'm going to cry. Seriously. I might be clinically depressed now. I just had to tell someone and I thought you would relate. :)

  7. I love reading your blog, you are so witty and your pictures are beautiful! A long time ago you asked me how I know Meggan Britton, I was in the same ward as her in Provo, and we were practically neighbors. I would see her almost everyday. She is awesome as are you!
