Secretly, I'd been plotting to put up my tree at least a week ago. Maybe even two. I love the light it gives off in our home - and how it makes everything seem that much cozier. But I never got around to it. (There's a whole big list of things I have yet to get around to.) But last night after the pirates went to bed - Steve and I put up the tree. Squísh woke me up early. "MOM!" she said, "I LOVE OUR CHRISTMAS TREE."
And I do too. But mostly I love what it symbolizes! I love this time of year - I'm so glad it's here!
