babies + sinks

On Saturday I gave Em a bath in the sink. It's one of my favorite ways to get the kitchen cleaned. I pre-rinse all the dishes, stack them on the counter, and then let her play while I load them into the dishwasher and straighten the rest of the room. Sometimes one of the other pirates will wander through and stop to play for a minute. Sometimes it's just Em and the water - and sometimes (or most of the time) it's one splash away from a bonafide water park.

It's just so classic though. (Babies and sinks go together.) On Saturday Em kept reaching for a plastic spoon floating just beyond her reach. She would have had it on the first try, if it hadn't been for that steady stream of water...
