We had to pick up Oreos. We were completely out - and I'm currently using them as bribery for piano playing. But the pirates weren't too excited to hear we had to go the grocery store (cue the unanimous "ugggggghhhhh") until they saw the mini shopping carts! ("It's like KID-CITY, Mom!") What other aspects of every day life could we make miniature? It was so fun... and worked like a charm!
