Our school has a Pumpkin Walk every Fall. Each class sets up a themed display of the students' pumpkins to demonstrate a different character value - responsibility, caring, sharing, honesty... all those good things. Last year we loved it, but it was freeeeeeezing. As in... winter jackets and snow on the ground! We walked through the pumpkins, sipped hot chocolate, and then quickly ran back to our car because it was so cold! But this year it was seventy delightfully perfect degrees. We strolled through the pumpkins, admired the displays, let Erikboy and Robs show off their pumpkins and said hello to our teachers and friends. (I have to admit it's fun living in an area long enough to do something you've done the year before.)
