We have peaches, pears, and apples in our backyard. Last year the pears never ripened... the apples came in by the truckload... and the peaches were absolutely delicious. So this year I've been picking baby apples off the tree (trying to avoid the truckload), praying over the pears (ripen please?) and watching the peaches get bigger. (I hope they're as tasty this year... it makes me think I should probably learn something about fruit trees.)
When they are marble size I hear you are supposed to thin them - like only 1 every 6 inches...Hope they turn out great! We've revived several fruit trees at rental houses but need to plant our own now that we are settled!
