I don't know how seven years passed so quickly. Ten seconds ago I was driving to the hospital to have her... (shaking because I was so nervous) and eight seconds ago I was watching fireworks with her in my arms. And then I blinked... and now she's seven. And I love her even more than I did ten seconds ago. She's lovely. She's smart. She's good. She's enthusiastic. She's sassy. She loves rollerblading, reading, and can pick out almost any tune on the piano. I can't imagine life without her. I love this girl. As she blew out those candles, one part of me plead with time to please slow down... While a whole other part wanted to dance because of who she is growing to be.
