staycation

Last night we took a mini staycation. As in rrreally mini. As in two hours. My parents are staying at a hotel whilst their floors are being refinished, so we went to visit them ...whilst wearing our swimsuits. It was a quick evening away, and we had the pool to ourselves. It was warm and it was lovely, and even though I stuck to the sides with Squish (such a small broken bone, such a large effect.) it was fun to have an evening doing something we don't normally do. It got us thinking of all the fun things we want to do this summer - there are so many interesting and local things we have yet to do! Summer... come quickly!
