a moving party

My parents bought a house last week. They moved in on Friday. Which is thrilling- but it also means that occasionally off-the-wall, unrealistic and somewhat farfetched dreams actually do happen. I'm a believer now- even though I haven't always been. We went to unload the truck on and I noticed Enriqueboy was pretty anxious to get things started. He had his eyes on a little black truck- which he found and promptly relocated to our garage.

Robs' party on Saturday went swimmingly. It was too cold to play outside for very long- and only got colder as the day went on, so we compensated. We played Hide-and-Seek, Balloon Baseball, Hot-Potato-with-a-Kitchen-Timer and when there was nothing left to do we sent the girls sliding across the ottoman on a slippery blanket. After lunch and a birthday cake we sent the four girls on their way with a balloon and a "Thank You." Robs loved it all.
