Wheels.

This child looooooves trucks.

He loves them when they're huge. 

He loves them when they're red.

He loves them when they're small and turquoise. 

He loves them when they have eyes instead of windshield, and a tow hook on the back.

And as of yesterday he reeeeally loves the monster truck at Sam's Club. 

The truck in the picture above came last week.

Enriqueface took meticulous care of it, 

but several days later, 

and by pure accident, (not his own)

it rolled off the table and lost a wheel.

He was so disappointed.

But after a bit of screaming, he took it pretty well,

and went back to playing with his previously loved trucks.

I love his resilience.

I love his confidence in the moment.

I love how he loves new trucks, 

but is perfectly fine with his old ones too.

Mostly I love being his mama.
