happy weekend!

...ready for something new?

Steve reminded me that we've had the
same picture up for quite some time now...
which has been sitting on my mind.
It really has.

my excuse:
we've been
busy.
(a classic, right?)
but really...
it's been seventy degrees.
Or more...
...every day for the past two weeks.

Which is an entirely new [and delightful] concept
for yours truly.

But this meant we had to be out of doors.
With swings and pine cones a'plenty.
(our business model includes these things.)

But today the high was forty.

So we finally retreated to the indoors.
And I turned up the heat-
and casually mentioned how I was SO COLD.

And then chuckled.

Because only a couple years ago, the weather
finally hit forty and we ventured out of doors to explore the parks.

I took Robyn for walks- because it was warming up.

It's all so very relative, isn't it?

But lovely, too.

  1. Christine,
How I LOVE to read your posts. Pictures are, dare I say it, picture perfect :D! The writing, so witty. The winter has been somewhat abnormal with the temps, in both directions, warm is best!

  2. Hello, Christine, the author of one of the best blogs around! I'm so glad you guys got a kick out of the pasta in the pan thing. It's the simple things that are the best, right? I'll try to take some more pictures of other things we did in that class, because they were all super fun. And in the mean time I'll direct you to one of my new favorite obsessions (maybe you've already heard about it): Notimeforflashcards.com. We did the soft/hard activity and the recycling sorting activity just today. I love that site!

PS As always, I LOVE your shots! The candidness and vibrancy is always to die for!
