This afternoon we walked through the woods at Lake Lansing. I've lived here for almost three years, and I had no idea that there was such a beautiful trail so close! I'll be running there later this week if anyone wants to come!
The woods turned out to be excellent for picture taking. {I just got a new lens this past week... 50mm of greatness. I love it already. It blurs the background wonderfully, and is great in low light.} In the picture above Robs had just woken up for a nap... and just tripped over a branch. (followed by a aerodynamic faceplant in the fresh fall leaves.)
She did enjoy herself... about the time we got back to the car.
Enrique, on the other hand... slept through almost all of it. The trails are a little bumpy, and yet he slept better than he does on paved runs. Good ol' BOB and his shocks.
And then... the grand finale. I love love love the face on Enrique!
I've heard of these illusive trails but have yet to see them for myself! Where are they exactly?
ReplyDeleteI love that last picture of Erik, too! So funny!
I love the 50mm! The depth of field is incredible.
ReplyDeleteI just bought a Nikkor 50mm myself, still learning how to use it, but it is so great.
Look at his cheeks! So cute! Robyn is gorgeous. Whenever fall rolls around and I'm running outside, I think of you!
ReplyDeleteHey, what camera do you have? I'm in the market for one...sell me the idea of yours! Why do you love it? It sure makes gorgeous pics for one thing--email me!

gorgeous! Do you just love this time of year??? I do!!! Especially in my neck of the woods. October = playing outside and not positively melting from heat exhaustion. I'm thinking the reason the Wicked Witch of the West melted was because she was from the south, not because of the water :) :) Thanks for sharing :)
