true love on two wheels

On Sunday we were long-boarding in front of my mom's house like, well dressed, fine mannered hooligans. (It's a warm weather pastime and as of Saturday our warm weather finally came.) But after a couple rides on the long board, Robs discovered the Maka-maka - and then I don't think she ever hopped off. She took it around the block. She went swooping from one side of the street to the other. She'd cruise past over, and over... until we had to leave for the evening. 

And then she talked about it the whole way home.
