On Thursday Steve was working from home. Squísh and I planned on going to Farm Country, but right before ten o' clock Em fell into a deep, deep nap. (She'd been resisting it like a boss.) I told Steve to call me if she woke up, and then Squísh and I took off for a morning with just the two of us ...it was so easy! We rode a pony. We took a wagon ride. We played with the farm plants. We saw a fresh baby cow, fuzzy baby bunnies, and a protective mama goose. It was fun to have time with my one and only Squísh. When Em woke up, three hours later, Squísh regaled her with stories of everything she'd missed, and it was cuter than all the baby everythings in the world.
