Yesterday was gorgeous. As in... to be remembered (most likely forever.) It was practically warm, the sun was shining, there was a slight breeze, and it was an early-out-of-school day. And on top of all that? Erikboy helped finish the dishes before we went out to play. (Whilst I regaled him with stories of track seasons past.) Which means there was no pang of chores left undone...
It was perfect.
We played baseball (T-ball when Squísh came up to bat) and teeter-totter. We climbed trees. We rode bikes, skateboards and scooters... we even got to meet the neighbor's new puppy. (A great dane. It's going to be huge.) I photographed all the way up to where the "riding bikes" began... And when I went to put them on the computer - they were nowhere to be found.
My camera had eaten them.
(Moment of silence, please.)
