On Sunday we celebrated my Mom's birthday. (Her genuine, bona fide birthday is today.) On Saturday afternoon she called to see if we wanted to come have dinner at her house. (I laughed to myself because my sisters and I had already planned one... at her house!) So I said "of course" and then told her what we planned on bringing. (Two kinds of soup, a salad, rolls and a dessert.) After she laughed, she asked what she could contribute. I said, if she wanted to, she could contribute a birthday - and in the mean time, put up her feet until we got there. (Which she did.) Happy Birthday, Mama. We love you!
