Yesterday Squísh tried to tell me it wasn't cold. (It was fifty-five blessed, blessed degrees.) But she was wearing a sundress, pink sandals and was headed for the door. I suggested she wear a sweater. (She refused.) I let her step outside with all the confidence in the world. We talked for a bit, and when the conversation paused I asked if she was cold. She said yes, and came back inside for the sweater. I adore Fall mornings. I adore Fall evenings. I adore stubborn confidence. And sweaters. Happy Friday!
