Yesterday was a big day...

...Erikboy went to gymnastics for the first time - and loved it! Five minutes before we left he told me he was nervous. I told him he'd be just fine, of course, and that Squish and I were excited to watch him from the chairs. As we pulled into the parking lot he asked me for the exact location of said "chairs," but as we walked in I could tell he was excited. He took off his coat, his boots, and without hesitating, bounced over to take a seat with the rest of the class. This kind of thing has been a long time coming. (He's been a sidekick since birth.) I was burstin' with pride!
