Last week Robs was telling me about someone who had been misbehaving. I was following her storyline until she said "...and he was being a Bad José!" I chuckled (I love pirates!) and asked if I'd heard her right. "Yes" she said, "It means if they come to you and ask you to do what they're doing you say: NO WAY, JOSÉ!"

The first time I delivered bad news to Elena by saying "Sorry, Charlie," she looked at me, mortally offended. "I'm Elena, Mommy. NOT Charlie." She happens to have an adorable little friend named Charlie and I think she thought I was losing my mind. Kids are the best.
