First Day of First Grade

(before two pirates woke up) / (after two pirates woke up)

Yesterday (first day of first grade!) went swimmingly. At 6:30 a.m. Robs gave me pat on the back and exclaimed something like  "TODAY IS FINALLY THE DAY! YOU NEED TO GET UP!" So we did, just Robs and I. We snuck downstairs for cereal, we finalized her outfit, found her purple shoes,  brushed through her hair, packed her lunch (complete with an ice pack), and checked the time. (It was time) So she darted upstairs to wake Erikboy- and the rest was history. We hopped in the auto (it refused to start, at first) and drove the half mile. Erikboy and Squish waited patiently in the car while Robs and I walked to her line. She looked a teensie bit nervous, but turned around and said "Goodbye Mom!" before she walked through the doors. (Bless that child!)

As I got back in the car Erikboy asked how long it was going to be until we could pick her up ...because he already wanted her home. We really do love our little Robs!

  1. Aw! Happy First Grade year, Miss Robyn.

When on earth did she get so grown up looking?

P.S. I love the siblings sneaking in on the photo shoot.
