Photobucket

I usually don't catch a gem like this one.
I sneak... I crouch down behind doorways... I hide under beds...
But Erik is usually onto me after the shutter snaps shut even once.
Begging me to take a picture of his car... or his truck... or his toes...
Anything but the genuine world he was in just moments before
the camera so rudely interrupted.

I've wanted this one for so long!

We have this little ice cube light. It's too bright for a night light, and too dim for anything else- so it moves around the house.

But I let it wander
because Robs and Erik love it.

When they find it,
they take turns flicking the switch ON and OFF...
over and over and over.
Changing the 'channels' until they find the 'movie' they were looking for.
And then they stare
intently...

...Until someone decides to click through the options one more time.

Seriously... to have that kind of imagination again...
Rainy days wouldn't stand a chance.

This day I caught them watching "Cars"...
...can you tell?

  2. I like Robyn's extremely intense look. She is not playing around. This is for serious.
