This is how we party.

See that sweet little thing in the cherry suit?

Three years ago, today, she came into my world.

And completely rocked it.

So in this afternoon's blistering heat we honored her with a water fight.

It was perfect, everyone was smiling... until that first cup of water...

Then she got a little antsy. I didn't get the memo before hand, but apparently Steve and I were off limits. No one was to get either Steve or I wet.

But her squeals weren't even as bad as Erik's. The moment Erik saw someone get soaked... he let out with a man-size roar.

Poor thing. I forgot to warn him about the mild violence and partial nudity.

But he got over it. As soon as we were all dry again, he was back to smiling.

Afterwards we ate spaghetti (a staple, if you ask me- right up there with water.) and then some cake.

--a delicious fairy cake, that consisted of two parts frosting, one part cake.

Robyn was in heaven.
