Re-thinking paper.

Due to the continued struggle between spending money I don't really have and decorating a house thats not really mine... Creative genius has struck once again.

My inspiration? This little contraption. (Thanks Jenn.)

I love decorating. I love color. I love decorating with color- especially in Robyn and Erik's room.
However, I despise purchasing decorative items that look so easy to make.

The catch: I have zero time on my hands to make all those cute decorative items

Therefore the walls are blank. Especially since our move.

But I couldn't stand it any longer.

So during the afternoon nap and I allowed my creative genius to roam free.

I love the results!!

The pictures definitely don't do it justice. It looks awesome- and it's just cardstock!

  1. that is such a cute idea! Can I borrow some creative genius? or do you know where I might be able to plant some of my own?

  2. I'm so grateful for the talents of my sibling's children and for each of your wonderful blogs!
These "windmills" could be hung quietly in the middle of the night (if the anchor nails or cup hooks were put up earlier and the string premeasured) in a particular teenager's room to greet her with a colorful Happy Birthday surprise(Megan's
    15th birthday.)
I can hardly wait for morning to start working on this project...Thanks for sharing!
