So... to make a long story short, and explain the absence of blog updates... I'll just say that Robs and I thoroughly enjoyed our stellar, above-average, and much needed vacation. And then, to try and make the vacation even more stellar, my sisters Jennifer and Michelle, the ever amazing Chelsy and I ran the Salt Lake City Half Marathon. (Along with 13,000 of our closest running buddies.)
Here I am at the start.... Number 24... (kidding!!)
...here's Robs at the start- it was 6:30 in the morning.
...and then here she is, 13.1 miles, a couple hours... and one binkie later. Her look hadn't changed all that much...
Overall...the race was fantastic. The weather was perfect... and the crowds were amazing! For anyone considering running a half marathon... I'd highly suggest it!
Yeah! I am so proud of you, pregnant and all! I am so glad it went well. I have been meaning to call you all day and keep thinking, oh she probably needs some time to regroup. Truth is, I probably won't give you that time! Can't wait to hear all about your trip!
ReplyDeleteI told my friends how proud of you I am that you ran the half marathon. The all freaked out because they thought "it's unfit for a girl in that situation to do that" I rolled my eyes and said... apparently you don't know her or me that well then do you?
