A month of love!

It's February, and YES! I am in love! I have a stupendously photogenic daughter, who just goes about her business, as I snap pictures of her quickly passing childhood. I take these pictures... put away the camera... then Robs and I go about our day. Then naptime comes around... she goes down like an angel, and then I quietly go back to where I laid down the camera. Is this the same little one who used to be my snuggly little baby? Now she's wearing cowboy boots and coloring?

It goes so quickly!

Which brings me to one of my other loves... photography. My camera is fairly complex. I've had it almost a year now, and sadly enough, I have rarely taken it off the automatic setting. I admit, the few times I have, it's when I'm out by myself shooting an unimportant, or unmoving object. However... I'm happy to anounce, these three pictures were not taken in automatic! This is a big accomplishment. Too bad Steve has night class... Robs and I are going to celebrate. Perhaps we'll take more pictures!

(Hurrah for north facing windows, adorable models, and non-automatic settings!)

  4. Hey there Christine and Steve! Wow, you guys have a blog too! I love how this is such a great way to keep up with people. Little Robyn is adorable. I still remember talking to you at Brooke and Aaron's place right after you had her. You were the most doting mother. Looks like nothing has changed! Those pictures look great too. Nice camera.

  5. So cute. I am glad that I found your blog. Brett and I will be checking it often if you don't mind. I love the blogging world. It is the only way that I seem to keep in touch with people these days. Like for instance, I don't think we even knew that you had a daughter. So sad! She is adorable though!

  6. I love the pictures, impressive that you took it off the auto settings! I am the same way, I usually only take it off the auto settings to practice on something that isn't moving. I am still working up the nerve to try it with my girls. Yours turned out great!
