tagged...

I have been sick out of my mind for the past 2 weeks. At first I thought it was the flu- then I thought it might be the Bubonic Plague coming back to claim just one more life (mine), but after ravishing my sinuses- I deduced and hypothesized it down to one disease: it had to be cancer of the sinus. However- as it is finally beginning to release it's terrible noose from around my neck... I'm beginnning to think that perhaps it's not cancer of the sinus after all. I'm thinking it's a really bad case of the Bird Flu.

I'm kidding- for all those people out there who may read the blog and contact the Federal Authorities. I dont have a contagious, incurable disease, just a creative mind with nothing to do. As I have been laying, either on the couch or my bed for the past two weeks, wishing very intently for a quick death, the only way I could find a way to put humor into the situation, and thereby avoid death- happened to lie in creative diseases. That, and then every time my worried mother called, asking how I was doing- I could tell her that the plague/cancer/bird flu was behaving just as it should.

However, thankfully, the noose was loosened, and I can now sit up for more than 2 minutes at a time. I've reconnected with my long lost Robs- who is now my constant companion. (It's wonderful actually, it's like discovering a new friend!) I've caught up on lots of blogs, sent out a couple rather important emails... and discovered that I've been 'tagged' by three different people. So now that it's ten o' clock at night, Robs is sound asleep (she has not taken a single nap this week- so night time is wonderfully uninterupted) and Steve is frantically trying to catch up on the schoolwork he's been putting off to aid my Bird Flu-ed self... I'm going to give in to the tagging!

TAGGED!

A. The Rules are posted at the beginning
B. Each player answers about themselves.

  6. Hey- I have never met you but I went to high school/ seminary with Stephen. (My name is Cynthia Rehart Ericksen) I saw your blog linked to the Hallstroms. It is so fun to see that Stephen has grown up, married such a great gal and has a beautiful baby girl. I love seeing old friends from high school and know they are doing well. Just an update on me. Married with two little girls (5 and 1). We live in Maumee, Ohio (near Toledo) and my husband is doing an orthopedic surgery residency. If you are ever driving through, email and we'd love to meet you!
